His training as a Police Officer has afforded him experience in drug interdiction, domestic violence prevention, and advanced roadside impairment.
Sage is a US Navy Veteran with 5 years experience as a licensed EMT. In his free time, he enjoys sky diving, crossfit, and training in MMA. After serving as a wildland firefighter, Sage decided to devote his time to the public as a Police Officer. Sage has served as a DWI officer and has advanced weapons tactics. With 7 years of public service, Sage has brought his talents to CAREtactics CPR.
CAREtactics CPR was founded in 2012 by Joe Griego. Joe was a firefighter at the time and started the company as a way to help make our community . CPR classes were taught with one manikin and the vision of CAREtactics began to take flight. Joe began to teach courses to Native American Reservations (such as Acoma Pueblo), non-profit organizations, day cares, hospitals, police departments and dentist offices in order to spread life saving knowledge. However, the company had far larger goals in mind.
Joe and Sage met as roommates in 2014 while they attended the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy and decided to enter business together in 2017, forming CAREtactics CPR LLC. As a service-connected veteran owned small business, Joe and Sage plan to expand operations in order to offer courses in personal safety and situational awareness, concealed carry courses, and tactical EMS.
